Dispatch
Your order is dispatched the same or next business day after we receive payment. Once dispatched, we send a notification e-mail with shipment details. Please ensure the e-mail address you provide with your order is correct to make sure this notification e-mail arrives.
UK Postal Carrier
Shipping within the UK is free. We use both Royalmail and Couriers (DHL, UPS, TNT, etc.) as our postal carriers. Couriers are used for bulk shipments where appropriate. With Royalmail we always use 'First Class Recorded Signed for' service to deliver your order. This service delivers within 1 to 3 days on average and provides delivery tracking. Guaranteed next day delivery is available too but we do charge for this service.
International Postal Carrier
For international destinations Royalmail International Signed For or Airsure service is used, mostly. For larger or heavy packets such as our grills we use couriers such as DHL, UPS, TNT. We ship out to any international destination serviced by Royalmail Airmail (except those not supported for card transactions). Royalmail aims to deliver to European destinations within three working days and worldwide within five days. For international shipments we always use a trackable service and you will be provided with the tracking number.
Return Policy
- 7 Day Cooling Off Period (Distance Selling Act 2000)
This regulation gives you the right to cancel your order for any reason within a cooling off period of 7 working days after you have received your goods. To cancel you need to e-mail us within the cooling off period at sales@chromiumtech.co.uk. The cooling off period allows you to examine the goods as you would be able to in a retail store. It does not however give you the right to try out the goods. The goods need to be returned in their original condition (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) within 5 days of cancellation. You are responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us. Once we establish the returned goods are in re-saleable condition, we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the goods (excl. our shipping costs). If the returned goods are not in re-saleable condition we reserve the right to refuse the return and send the goods back to you.
- Faulty or Damaged Goods
In the event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please e-mail sales@chromiumtech.co.uk within 3 working days and describe the damage so that we can take appropriate action. Please take notice of any damage to the shipping materials. We may ask you to e-mail us a digital picture of the damaged goods or send the product back to us for inspection (within 7 working days). We will either replace the product or we will refund your payment in full (incl. shipping costs). If the product is faulty and we asked you to send the product back for inspection, your shipping costs will be refunded too. If no fault is found, the goods can be returned at your expense or a refund given less postage and packaging, and a 5% re-stocking fee.
- Return for Any Reason
You must e-mail sales@chromiumtech.co.uk to inform us that you wish to return the goods within 7 calendar days of receiving them. If the goods you wish to return are not faulty but have been opened we will request you return them to us at your own expense. Once the goods have been returned they will be inspected. Only if the packaging is undamaged and the goods are complete will a refund be granted on the purchase price (excluding postage and packaging) less a minimum restocking fee of 5%. We also reserve the right to refuse the return and send the item back to you, if the item is not of saleable quality. No original delivery costs or any other charges incurred by returning the goods will be refunded. This offer is only open for 7 calendar days after the receipt of the goods.
